Custom Pet Portraits on Hanji
What is the process of my pet portrait?
I use Japanese watercolor on beautiful Korean paper, Hanji to create a pet portrait. Unlike regular watercolor paper, Hanji requires preliminary work to draw pictures.
1. To prevent watercolor paint from spreading, apply lacquer mixed with water to Hanji.
2. Glue Hanji smoothly onto canvas, without wrinkles.
3. Paint the background.
4. Draw a sketch.
5. Paint your lovely pet.
