HANJI TREE

Can you believe that a sturdy furniture can be made of papers only? Papers are often considered as a weak material but Hanji can be surprisingly durable when they are glued together in many layers. I built a basic structure using thick cardboard and put Hanji in layers both from inside and outside. To decorate the surface of it, various patterns on colorful Hanji were applied. This big furniture is very easy to use, and its soft and warm feelings never go out of style.
